I mean, he just has some unnaturally white teeth, a bad hair dye job, and I think I even spotted a faint trace of pale pink lipstick on the man. Of course the only reason the camera was so close in on him during the news tonight was because of the earthquake, just some slight rumbling, nothing too exciting. But the local news stations always do the same thing every earthquake, which is interrupt programming to show the anchor taking calls from people, close to the epicenter or not, who want to tell about how their pets were acting weird for an hour before the earthquake and how everything shook but nothing broke. Same thing every time. Of course, I always have to watch at least half and hour of this kind of coverage every time, too. Watching channel 7 was just unnerving, though, as the camera was so zoomed in on Dan Ashley's face, and he was pretty much staring right into it as he talked to all these nutjobs on the phone. You really have to feel bad for the guy. One woman (from the Marina, OF COURSE) got so excited when her name appeared on the screen that Dan had to quickly cut her off, probably because he and the producers feared that she was on meth or something. Pretty funny. But yeah, I enjoy watching people talk about earthquakes when they happen. I was at work and had the Giants game on while I cleaned the kitchen, and although the camera at the ballpark shook Duane and Mike didn't even bring it up. I've always suspected that Duane Kuiper was heavily sedated, but I at least expected some kind of outburst from Mike Krukow. Oh well, at least Dan Ashley was there for me...
